ETS Proficiency Profile (formerly MAPP)

Nationally normed measure of college-level reading, writing and critical thinking skills of our graduates across all formats and locations.  The ETS Proficiency Profile, formerly called MAPP (Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress), was administered to samples of WC and EWC students in 1997 and 1999 under the title ETS Academic Profile.

NSSE (National Survey of Student Engagement)

Provides nationally comparable self-reported data on student engagement.  The NSSE survey was administered for the first time in 2000, with WC sample of freshmen and seniors.

CAT: Critical thinking Assessment Test

From the Center for Assessment & Improvement of Learning at Tennessee Tech Univeristy, adopted for use with our QEP, the CAT Instrument is designed to assess and promote the improvement of critical thinking and real-world problem solving skills.

Advisor Survey

Self-report instrument adapted for Brenau from Advisement Survey used at Walla Walla University. Administered online in Spring Semester.

Graduate Survey

Locally-developed survey administered six months after graduation.
